For many years, our board members gave quietly—supporting causes close to their hearts through personal donations, community initiatives, and one-on-one partnerships. These acts of giving were meaningful, often discreet, and always driven by a deep sense of responsibility.
But over time, a shared realization emerged: while isolated philanthropy can touch lives, collective purpose can change systems.
Crown Oak Foundation was born from this belief.
By coming together under one roof—with a shared vision, a clear set of values, and a formal structure—we knew we could amplify our impact. We could be more strategic, more accountable, and more sustainable in how we support the people and ideas shaping a better world.
Establishing the foundation allowed us to move from individual giving to coordinated action. It gave us the tools to listen more deeply, invest more intentionally, and partner more meaningfully.
Today, Crown Oak Foundation stands as a testament to what happens when private generosity becomes public purpose. We are still rooted in the same values—humility, creativity, inclusion, and integrity—but now we work as one, with a broader reach and a stronger voice.
“We realized that what we could achieve together was far greater than what any of us could do alone. The foundation is our way of turning shared values into shared impact.”
— Ret. General José Rosso Serrano, Founding Board Member
To those who have been with us from the beginning, and to those just joining the journey: thank you. This is only the beginning.
